JENPAS UG Counselling 2026: Round 2 Online Registration and Choice Filling Begin at wbjeeb.nic.in

The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) has officially kicked off the Round 2 online registration and choice-filling process for the Joint Entrance for Nursing, Paramedical, and Allied Health Sciences Undergraduate Courses (JENPAS UG) 2026.

Eligible candidates seeking admission to B.Sc. Nursing, Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT), Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Technology (BMLT), and various other paramedical and allied health courses across government and private institutes in West Bengal can now apply on the official portal: wbjeeb.nic.in.

The online portal opened on August 18, 2026, and candidates have been given a short window until August 19, 2026 (up to 11:59 PM) to complete their fresh registrations, choice filling, and choice locking.

Eligibility Criteria: Who Can Participate?

WBJEEB allows two primary categories of candidates to participate in Round 2:

• Fresh Applicants: Candidates holding a valid General Merit Rank (GMR) or Bachelor of Hospital Administration Merit Rank (BMR) in JENPAS UG 2026 who missed or did not register during Round 1 can complete fresh registration now.

• Upgradation Candidates: Candidates who registered in Round 1, received a seat, paid the seat acceptance fee, and selected the “Yes-Upgradation” option during document verification are eligible to re-order, add, or modify their course and college preferences for Round 2.

Important Note: Candidates who were allocated a seat in Round 1 but failed to pay the seat acceptance fee or complete document verification have been excluded from subsequent standard counselling rounds as per board guidelines.

Step-by-Step Guide: How to Apply and Fill Choices

1. Visit the Official Website: Go to wbjeeb.nic.in/jenpas-ug.

2. Access the Portal: Click on the link titled “Registration & Choice Filling for JENPAS UG Round 2 Counselling 2026”.

3. Login / Sign Up: Fresh applicants must create an account using their JENPAS UG 2026 Roll Number, Application Number, and Password. Existing users can log in directly with their credentials.

4. Complete Registration & Fee Payment: Fresh candidates must fill out their personal and educational details and pay the non-refundable online counselling registration fee.

5. Fill and Order Preferences: Review the updated vacant seat matrix published on the site. Select your preferred institutes and academic programs, placing your top choices at the very top of the list.

6. Lock Choices: Once satisfied with the arrangement, click “Lock Choices”. If a candidate forgets to manually lock their choices, the system will automatically lock the saved preferences at midnight on August 19, 2026.

7. Download Confirmation: Print and save the choice-locking confirmation page for physical verification rounds.

What Lies Ahead?

Once the choice-locking facility closes on August 19, the board will run its automated seat allotment algorithm based on rank merit, seat matrix availability, reservation rules, and submitted preferences.

The Round 2 Seat Allotment Result will be released on August 21, 2026. Fresh allottees will then have three days (August 21 to August 23) to pay the requisite seat acceptance fee online and physically report to their respective allotted colleges with original documents for verification. Candidates who are not satisfied with their Round 2 allotment can look forward to the Round 3 (Mop-Up Round) registration phase scheduled to open on August 24, 2026.
