JENPAS UG Seat Matrix 2026 Released: 13,265 Seats Available for Counselling

The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) has officially released the seat matrix for the JENPAS UG 2026 counselling process. Candidates who qualified in the Joint Entrance Test for Nursing, Paramedical, and Allied Sciences Undergraduate courses can now view the course-wise and college-wise seat distribution on the official portal at wbjeeb.nic.in.

For the 2026–27 academic session, a total of 13,265 seats are open across participating government and private institutes throughout West Bengal.

Stream-Wise Seat Distribution

The 13,265 available seats cover a wide range of undergraduate degree courses. WBJEEB has grouped these programmes into three main regulatory categories:

1. INC-Regulated Courses:

   • B.Sc. Nursing: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (governed by Indian Nursing Council guidelines).

2. NCAHP-Regulated Courses:

   • BPT: Bachelor of Physiotherapy

   • BOT: Bachelor of Occupational Therapy

   • BMLS / BMLT: Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Science

   • BOTT / AOTT: Bachelor of Operation Theatre Technology

   • BPA: Bachelor of Physician Associate

   • BEMT: Bachelor of Emergency Medical Technology

   • BOPTM: Bachelor of Optometry

   • B.Sc. MRIT: Medical Radiology and Imaging Technology

   • BRT: Bachelor of Respiratory Technology

3. University-Regulated Courses:

   • B.Sc. MMB: Bachelor of Science in Medical Microbiology

   • B.Sc. CSIC: Bachelor of Central Sterilization and Infection Control

   • BHA: Bachelor of Hospital Administration

Seats are split across various categories, including Open Merit, Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), OBC-A, OBC-B, Economically Weaker Section (EWS), Persons with Disabilities (PwD), and Tuition Fee Waiver (TFW) quotas.

Along with the seat matrix, WBJEEB announced the full schedule for online counselling. Registration and choice filling are active, and candidates must lock their options before the deadline.

Step-by-Step Guide for Registration & Choice Filling

Candidates who qualified the entrance test must register online to be considered for seat allocation. Here is the simple process to follow:

1. Visit the Portal: Open the official website (wbjeeb.nic.in/jenpas-ug) and click on the 2026 Counselling link.

2. Log In: Enter your JENPAS UG 2026 Application Number and Password.

3. Pay Registration Fee: Complete the online counselling registration fee payment using Net Banking, Debit/Credit Card, or UPI.

4. Review Seat Matrix: Check the seat matrix PDF to verify college names, stream choices, course fees, and gender restrictions (e.g., certain B.Sc. Nursing seats are reserved exclusively for female candidates).

5. Fill and Reorder Choices: Add your preferred combinations of colleges and courses. Arrange them in order of priority, placing your top preferences at the top.

6. Lock Choices: Review your selected choices carefully and lock them before August 10, 2026. If choices are not locked manually, the system will automatically lock the last saved list at the deadline.

All allotments are subject to physical document verification at the allotted college. If any information or document is found invalid, the allotted seat will be cancelled.

Key Eligibility Guidelines:

• Domicile Status: Reserved category seats (SC, ST, OBC-A, OBC-B, EWS, TFW) are available only to candidates domiciled in West Bengal. Candidates without valid West Bengal domicile certificates will be considered under the Open / Unreserved category.

• Valid Documents: Category certificates must be issued by competent authorities in West Bengal.

• Class 10 Admit Card / Birth Certificate (for age proof)

• Class 12 Marksheet and Passing Certificate
