Nitte MBA admissions 2026 open: apply through CAT, MAT, KMAT, PGCET scores

Full-time Master of Business Administration (MBA) courses are being offered by multiple institutions within the Nitte educational group for the 2025-2026 academic year. Admissions for the 2026 intake are currently open at Nitte Meenakshi Institute of Technology (NMIT), located in Bengaluru, Karnataka.

These postgraduate management programs aim to develop managerial and leadership skills among students. The institutions involved include NMIT, NMAM Institute of Technology, Nitte School of Management, Nitte (Deemed to be University) – Bengaluru Campus, and Nitte JKSHIM, with campuses in Nitte, Bengaluru, and Mysuru.

NMIT MBA Admissions and Fee Structure for 2026

Nitte Meenakshi Institute of Technology (NMIT), an AICTE-approved institution, is accepting applications for its 2-year MBA program for the 2026 academic year. The program offers specializations in Finance, Marketing, Human Resources, and Business Analytics. Prospective candidates can apply for NMIT MBA using scores from national and state-level entrance examinations such as CAT, MAT, KMAT, or PGCET.

The indicative fee structure for the NMIT MBA program varies based on the admission quota. Hostel and mess charges are separate and typically cover twin or triple-sharing accommodation.

Eligibility and Programs at Other NITTE Institutions

Nitte JKSHIM requires candidates to hold a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline under the 10+2+3 or 10+2+4 scheme with a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate for MBA admission. MBA classes at Nitte JKSHIM commence in September each year. NITTE School of Management (NSOM), an autonomous B-school established in 2009 and approved by AICTE, offers PGDM specializations including professional management, management consulting, health care management, business analytics, retail management, and agribusiness management. NSOM MBA admissions are based on CAT, MAT, XAT, CMAT, ATMA, or GMAT scores.

NMAM Institute of Technology, founded in 1986, also offers MBA programs with an overall intake of 180 seats. The institution has NBA approval and NAAC grade A accreditation. NMAMIT’s placement rates have shown an increasing trend, with approximately 95% of students placed. In the 2019-20 academic year, about 62.5% of NMAMIT students secured placements. The average salary package offered at NMAMIT is 5 LPA, with the highest domestic package reaching 17 LPA by Microsoft and the highest international package at 21 LPA by a Japanese company. Top recruiters at NMAMIT include VMware, Informatica, Siemens, IBM, Sony, and Infosys.

Recent Academic and Industry Engagement Activities

NMIT has organized various events to enhance student learning and industry exposure. On August 14, 2026, an Industry Guest Talk titled ‘Inside the Marketing Industry: From Strategy to Execution’ was conducted for MBA students. This was preceded by an industrial visit for III Semester MBA students to Karnataka Silk Industries Corporation (KSIC) and Payana Vintage Car Museum in Mysuru on August 12, 2026. An Expert Talk on ‘From Vision to Venture: Building an Entrepreneurial Mindset’ was also organized at NMIT on August 10, 2026.

Earlier in 2026, a three-day Management Development Program (MDP) on ‘Workplace Well-being’ was conducted at ACWA Automatics – a division of JK Fenner India Ltd., Peenya, Bengaluru, from March 23–25, 2026. Industrial visits for the 2nd Sem MBA 2025-2027 batch students included Fabco India Pvt Ltd and Trinity NDT, Peenya Industrial Area, Bengaluru, on January 29, 2026. First Semester MBA students (Batch 2025–2027) also undertook industrial visits to Ace Designers Ltd – Machining Center Division, Peenya, Bengaluru, on September 27, 2025; Rittal Pvt, Ltd, Doddaballapur Industrial Estate, Karnataka, on September 16, 2025; and Silver Spark Apparels Ltd., Hoskote, Karnataka, on September 9, 2025. In May 2025, a Mock Interview session was organized for Fourth-Semester students on May 24, and an industrial visit to Silver Spark Apparel Ltd., Doddaballapur, was conducted for Fourth Semester MBA students on May 21 and 22. Additionally, ERMA 2025, an international conference on ‘Sustainable Business Practices: Institutional Responsibilities and Opportunities,’ was organized at NMIT, Bengaluru, on February 27 and 28, 2025, which saw over 150 research paper submissions. A Guest Lecture on ‘Creativity and Innovation for New Age Leaders and Marketers’ was held for 1st year MBA students on February 25, 2025.
