What Should Candidates Do After Round 5 Seat Allotment?

Candidates who have been allotted a seat in the UCEED 2026 Round 5 counselling must complete the following steps to confirm their admission:

• Accept the allotted seat by choosing the appropriate option on the admission portal.
  • Freeze: Select this option if you are satisfied with the allotted institute and wish to confirm your admission. As Round 5 is the final round, this will finalize your seat.
  • Float: In earlier rounds, candidates could choose the Float option to be considered for admission to a higher-preference institute in subsequent rounds. However, since Round 5 is the final counselling round, there are no further rounds for upward movement, making the Float option inapplicable at this stage.
• Pay the seat acceptance fee within the prescribed deadline to confirm your allotted seat.
• Download the provisional seat allotment letter for future reference.
• Complete document verification and institute-specific admission formalities as per the instructions issued by the allotted institute.
• Report to the allotted institute within the stipulated timeline to complete the admission process.

Since Round 5 marks the conclusion of the UCEED 2026 counselling process, no further seat allotment rounds will be conducted after this stage. Candidates who fail to complete the required formalities within the deadline may forfeit their allotted seat.
