XAT 2027 Registration Begins Tomorrow at xatonline.in; Special First Day Registration Benefits
XLRI Jamshedpur will officially release the online application forms for the Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT) 2027 tomorrow, July 15, 2026. The last date to register for XAT 2027 is 6th December 2026. Students can register online at xatonline.in. XAT 2027 application is Rs. 2,200 (base fee) plus Rs. 200 for each programme selected.Â
This year, XLRI Jamshedpur has offered the advantage of allotting first-preference cities to applicants who register on the first day itself. The national-level management entrance test is scheduled to be conducted on January 3, 2027, in a single shift as a computer-based test.

Why You Should Register for XAT 2027 on the First Day
XLRI has introduced a massive student-friendly benefit for early applicants this year:
- Candidates who complete their application on Day 1 (July 15, 2026) are guaranteed to receive their first-preferred test city choice.
- Furthermore, Day 1 applicants will receive a definitive test city allocation confirmation by August 5, 2026.
How to Fill the XAT 2027 Application Form
The application must be completed sequentially to prevent submission errors. Candidates can follow these steps:
- Visit xatonline.in and click on ‘New Registration’.
- Enter your name, email ID, and mobile number to create your login credentials.
- Verify your mobile number using the OTP and confirm your email through the verification link.
- Log in using your XAT ID and password.
- Fill in your personal, academic, and work experience details.
- Select the XLRI programmes you wish to apply for.
- Choose up to six preferred test cities in order of preference.
- Upload your passport-size photograph, signature, and a valid photo ID.
- Preview the application form and verify all the details.
- Pay the application fee online and submit the form.
- Download and save the confirmation page for future reference.
Documents Required for XAT 2027 Registration
Keep the following list of documents ready in digital format before launching the form window:
- Photograph: Recent color passport-size image (JPEG format, white background, 10–200 KB).
- Signature: Clean handwritten signature on a white background (JPEG format, 10–100 KB).
- Academic Marksheets: Hard copies of Class 10, Class 12, and Graduation certificates for error-free percentage entries.
- Identity Proof: A valid government-issued photo ID (Aadhaar Card, Passport, Voter ID, or Driving License).
- Work Experience Data: Precise joining dates, exit dates, and company names if applying as a working professional.
XAT 2027 Registration Fee
The registration fee structure remains strictly non-refundable and varies depending on your chosen channel and applicant background:

XAT 2027 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must systematically fulfill these minimum benchmarks to apply:
- Educational Qualification: Must possess a recognized Bachelor’s Degree of minimum 3 years’ duration or equivalent in any stream.
- Final Year Candidates: Students appearing for their final graduation examinations by June 12, 2027, are fully eligible to apply conditionally.
- Minimum Marks & Age: XLRI sets no minimum graduation percentage bar and imposes no upper age restrictions to appear for the exam.
What After XAT 2027 Registration?
Once the application form is successfully sent, your digital dashboard status will lock into confirmation.
- Official Mock Test: XLRI is scheduled to launch an official mock portal on September 29, 2026, helping you understand the real interface.
- Admit Card Download: Successfully registered candidates can download their hall tickets beginning December 20, 2026.
- B-School Cutoffs: Following the January 3rd exam, official XAT cutoffs will be declared around January 31, 2027, kicking off group discussions and personal interview rounds at partner institutes.
