CLAT 2027 Registration Begins Live: Check Dates, Link, Eligibility, Application Fees, Documents & Process
The Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs) has officially opened the online application window for the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2027. Aspiring law students seeking admission into prestigious undergraduate (5-year Integrated LL.B.) and postgraduate (LL.M.) programmes across 24 participating National Law Universities can now register directly on the official portal at consortiumofnlus.ac.in.
As per the official schedule released by the Consortium, the online application process will remain active until October 31, 2026. The national-level entrance examination is scheduled to be conducted on December 6, 2026, in a single shift from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM across nationwide exam centres in offline (pen-and-paper) mode.

CLAT 2027 Eligibility Criteria
Before filling out the application form, candidates must carefully check their eligibility to avoid rejection at later stages.
For Undergraduate (UG) Programme (5-Year Integrated LL.B.)

Academic Qualification: Candidates must have passed Higher Secondary School Examination (10+2) or an equivalent examination from a recognized board. Students appearing for their board exams in 2027 are also eligible to apply.

Minimum Qualifying Marks:

General / OBC / PwD / NRI / OCI / PIO Candidates: At least 45% marks.

SC / ST Candidates: At least 40% marks.

Age Limit: There is no upper age limit for appearing in CLAT 2027 UG.
For Postgraduate (PG) Programme (1-Year LL.M.)

Academic Qualification: Candidates must possess an LL.B. degree or an equivalent examination from a recognized university.

General / OBC / PwD / NRI / OCI / PIO Candidates: Minimum 50% aggregate marks.

SC / ST Candidates: Minimum 45% aggregate marks.

Age Limit: There is no upper age limit for CLAT PG.
CLAT 2027 Application Fee Structure
The application fee must be paid exclusively via online mode through Credit Card, Debit Card, Net Banking, or UPI. The fee is non-refundable.

Category Certificate: Valid SC/ST/OBC-NCL certificate (if applicable, PDF format).
