Bihar DCECE 2026 Round 2 Seat Allotment Postponed: Revised Schedule Expected Soon at bceceboard.bihar.gov.in

The Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) has officially postponed the publication of the DCECE 2026 Round 2 Seat Allotment Result for Polytechnic Engineering (PE) diploma courses. Candidates awaiting their seat confirmation were originally expecting the Round 2 provisional allotment list on July 20, 2026.

However, citing “unavoidable reasons,” the board issued a official alert on its portal informing students and participating institutes that both the allotment order publication and subsequent document verification have been delayed. The refreshed timeline—along with the category-wise opening and closing cutoff ranks—will be released shortly on the official website.

Key Highlights of DCECE PE 2026 Counselling

Official Notice Excerpt: “Due to unavoidable reasons, the publication of the Second Round Seat Allotment result and Document Verification of DCECE[PE]-2026 is delayed. Concerned Institutions and Candidates are advised to keep in touch with the Board’s website for further Notice.”

Top Performers: Bihar Polytechnic Entrance Examination

The DCECE (Polytechnic Engineering) exam is scored out of a maximum of 450 marks (comprising Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics sections with 30 questions each). In this session’s exam, candidates demonstrated exceptional scores, with top rankers securing near-perfect marks:

• Aryan Verma: Secured Air / State Rank 1 in the DCECE (PE) exam.

• Aniket Ranjan: Achieved Air / State Rank 4 in the DCECE (PE) stream.

Candidates targeting premier institutes like Government Polytechnic Patna, Muzaffarpur, and Gaya generally require an overall score above 360/450 to land inside the Top 1,000 ranks.

Step-by-Step: How to Download Round 2 Seat Allotment Order

Once the BCECE Board activates the link, candidates can download their seat allotment status by following these steps:

1. Visit the official website: bceceboard.bihar.gov.in.

2. Click on the “Online Portal of DCECE [PE]-2026” link available on the home page.

3. Select “Round 2 Seat Allotment Result” and log in using your Roll Number / Registration Number, Password, and Security Pin.

4. Your allotted branch, college, and category status will appear on the screen.

5. Download and print at least 3 copies of the Seat Allotment Letter for reporting center formalities.

Documents Required for Verification & Final Admission

When reporting to designated Nodal Centers for physical document verification, students must carry both original copies and self-attested photocopies:

• Class 10 (Matric) Admit Card, Marksheet, and Passing Certificate.

• DCECE 2026 Admit Card & Rank Card.

• Downloaded DCECE Allotment Letter (3 copies).

• School / Institution Leaving Certificate (SLC) & Character Certificate.

• Caste Certificate, Domicile Certificate (Bihar native proof), and Income/EWS Certificate (if applicable).

• Copy of online application form (Part A & Part B).

• 6 recent passport-sized photographs (matching the admit card photo).

• Aadhaar Card or valid Identity Proof.

Candidates are strongly advised to check the official BCECE portal daily so they do not miss the revised reporting dates. Failing to appear at the assigned center during the rescheduled verification window leads to automatic seat cancellation.
