This window is expected to allow candidates to review and modify certain details in their submitted application forms after the registration process concludes. However, the Consortium has not yet officially confirmed the opening or closing dates for this correction facility, nor the complete list of editable fields for CLAT 2027.

The online enrollment for CLAT 2027 commenced on August 3, 2026, with the final deadline for application submission and fee payment set for October 31, 2026, at 11:59 P.M. Application Correction Details and Restrictions
While a correction window is expected, the Consortium of NLUs has specified certain restrictions on modifications. Candidates are unable to change their chosen program, category, or the BPL (Below Poverty Line) field once the application has been submitted and the fee paid. The Consortium will not entertain any requests for changes to these specific fields after the initial submission. The official application instructions also mandate that candidates’ names, including their parents’ names, must precisely match their relevant certificates, marksheets, or identity documents.
The CLAT 2027 examination will consist of 120 questions and will have a duration of two hours. There is no upper age limit for candidates appearing in either CLAT UG or CLAT PG. The application fee for General, OBC, PwD, NRI, PIO, and OCI candidates is ₹4,000, while SC, ST, and BPL candidates are required to pay ₹3,500. This application fee is non-refundable and non-adjustable.
