The National Testing Agency (NTA) released the score card for the All India Ayush Post Graduate Entrance Test (AIAPGET) – 2026 on September 18, 2026. This score card is crucial for candidates seeking admission to Postgraduate ASU & H Courses for the Academic Session 2026–27 across the country.
The AIAPGET is conducted on behalf of the Ministry of Ayush, NCISM, and NCH, with the approval of the Ministry of Education. It functions as a single entrance examination for admission to MD/MS programmes in Ayurveda, Siddha, Unani, and Homoeopathy, covering both All India Quota (AIQ) and State Quota seats.
AIAPGET as the Sole Entrance Examination
The AIAPGET – 2026 serves as the common and singular entrance examination for all admissions to Postgraduate ASU & H Courses for the Academic Session 2026–27. This means that no other AYUSH Colleges, Institutions, Universities, or Deemed Universities are permitted to conduct any separate entrance examination for admission to ASU & H MD/MS Courses for the current academic session.
The NTA has been conducting the All India Ayush Post Graduate Entrance Test (AIAPGET) since 2019, streamlining the admission process for postgraduate studies in traditional Indian medical systems. This centralized approach aims to ensure uniformity and transparency in admissions across various institutions.
Key Releases and Preparatory Actions by NTA
Prior to the release of the score card, the NTA undertook several preparatory actions for AIAPGET – 2026. These included the release of Provisional Answer Keys and Question Papers with Recorded Responses, which allowed candidates to challenge the keys.
