APPGCET second seat allotment 2026 out on October 17: report to colleges by October 24

Sri Venkateswara University released the APPGCET second seat allotment list for 2026 on October 17. The list, available on the official website cap.apcfss.in, is for postgraduate admissions based on APPGCET exam scores and candidate selections. Aspirants can access their results by entering their registration ID and password in the login window.

Following the publication of the seat allotment, candidates who have been shortlisted are required to complete the reporting process between October 21 and October 24, 2026. This process involves downloading a provisional admission letter, attending document verification at the counselling location, and paying the admission fee to claim their assigned seats.

APPGCET Phase 2 Counselling and Reporting Process

The APPGCET 2026 second phase counselling for MSc admissions commenced on October 8, 2026. Qualified candidates were required to apply for this counselling process, which includes several stages: registration, certificate verification, web options, seat allotment, and self-reporting. The seat allocation list is generated based on the candidates’ performance in the APPGCET exam and their chosen preferences during the web options phase.

To secure their allotted seats, candidates must use the ‘Freeze’ option. After accepting the seat assignment and paying the admission fee, they must appear at the counselling location for document verification. A provisional acceptance letter will be issued to applicants who have completed these steps, including paying the AP PGCET counselling participation fee.

Key Dates for APPGCET 2026 Counselling

The APPGCET 2026 counselling notification was released on September 1, 2026, initiating a multi-stage admission process. The first phase of counselling concluded with self-reporting from September 23 to September 29, 2026, and classwork commencing on September 23, 2026. The second phase, which began in October, has specific deadlines for various activities leading up to the commencement of classes.

Candidates have the option to give up their seats after both the first and second rounds of APPGCET seat allocation. The detailed schedule for both phases of counselling, as released by Sri Venkateswara University, is provided below.
