KEA conducts a dedicated Post Graduate Entrance Test for admissions to M.Sc. Nursing, MPT, M.Sc. Allied Health Sciences, M.Pharm, and Pharm-D programmes. The examination is tentatively scheduled to take place in September–October 2026. This year, 25 M.Sc. Nursing seats will be available for admission in Karnataka government institutions.

Eligibility Criteria and Application Process

Candidates applying for the Karnataka M.Sc. Nursing 2026 must be Indian citizens and not exceed 45 years of age. A crucial eligibility requirement is having passed B.Sc. Nursing or Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing from an institution recognized by the Indian Nursing Council (INC). General category candidates are required to have secured a minimum of 55% marks in their graduation, while reserved category students need to have obtained 50% marks. In addition, applicants must have cleared the NEET PG exam to be eligible for consideration.

The application fees vary by category. General, Other Backward Classes (OC), and Backward Classes (BC) candidates are required to pay an application fee of INR 5,000. For Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) categories, the application fee is INR 4,000. These fees must be paid online through debit card, credit card, or net banking modes. Examination Pattern and Syllabus

The Karnataka M.Sc. Nursing 2026 entrance examination will consist of 100 objective-type questions, presented as Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs). The duration of the examination is 90 minutes. Notably, there will be no negative marking for incorrect answers in this examination. The test will be conducted in an offline OMR (Optical Mark Recognition) mode. The syllabus for the M.Sc. Nursing exam is derived from the B.Sc. Nursing curriculum.

The admit card for the Karnataka M.Sc. Nursing 2026 is tentatively expected to be released online a few days prior to the examination date. Following the examination, the results for KEA M.Sc.
