MAH 3-Year LLB CAP 2026 Schedule Released: Check Dates, Direct Links & More

The State Common Entrance Test (CET) Cell, Maharashtra, has officially released the Centralized Admission Process (CAP) schedule for the MAH 3-Year LLB program for 2026 at llb3cap26.mahacet.org. The choice filling window opens today, i.e. August 5, 2026, and will remain open till August 7, 2026. MAH 3-Year LLB Round 1 seat allotment will be out on 11 August 2026. The CAP counselling process consists of multiple rounds of seat allocation based on merit rank, candidate preferences, and seat availability across participating law institutes in Maharashtra. The web option entry for Round 1 is open, allowing candidates to select and lock their preferred law colleges.

How to Fill College Option Form

Candidates must complete their option form online during the scheduled window to be considered for seat allotment.

  • Log In to Candidate Portal: Visit the official portal and log in using your registered application ID/email ID and password.

  • Access Option Form: Navigate to the candidate dashboard and click on the ‘College Option Form Filling’ link.

  • Select Colleges: Choose your preferred law colleges in order of priority (e.g., GLC Mumbai, ILS Law College Pune, etc.).

  • Review Preferences: Carefully verify the selected choices and their preferred order before submitting.

  • Lock & Save Form: Lock the option form before the deadline (August 7, 2026) to ensure your preferences are registered for allotment.

MAH 3-Year LLB CAP 2026 Seat Allotment Date

The Round 1 Seat Allotment Result for the MAH 3-Year LLB program will be published on August 11, 2026.

Seat allocation is determined automatically by the CET Cell based on:

  • Candidate’s score and percentile in MAH 3-Year LLB CET

  • Merit rank in the final merit list

  • Category reservation rules (Maharashtra State / OMS / Reserved Categories)

  • Order of preferences submitted in the option form

What After Seat Allotment?

Upon the release of the seat allotment list, candidates must complete the following post-allotment steps:

  • Download Allotment Letter: Log in to the candidate portal to check your seat allocation status and download the allotment letter.

  • Choose ‘Freeze’ or ‘Betterment’:

    • Freeze: Accept the allotted seat if satisfied and refrain from participating in further CAP rounds.

    • Betterment: Reserve the current allotted seat by paying the seat acceptance fee while opting to upgrade in Round 2.

  • Report to Allotted College: Visit the allotted institute between August 12 and August 17, 2026 (excluding Independence Day on August 15) for document verification and fee submission.

  • Admission Confirmation: The college will verify original documents, accept admission fees, and upload confirmed admissions onto the CET portal by August 18, 2026.
