The State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra, officially declared the MAH BDes CET CAP 2026 Round 1 Seat Allotment result on August 4, 2026. Shortlisted candidates should follow these steps to download their official allotment letter from the portal:

  1. Visit Official Website: Go to the official admission portal at bdesign2026.mahacet.org.

  2. Access Candidate Login: Click on the “Candidate Login” button on the homepage.

  3. Enter Credentials: Provide your Application ID and Password / Date of Birth.

  4. View Allotment: Click on “CAP Round 1 Seat Allotment Status” from your user dashboard.

  5. Download & Print: Verify the details of your seat allotment (College Name, Course Specialization, Category) and download the Provisional Allotment Letter for verification and reporting.

MAH BDes CET 2026 Seat Acceptance Fees

For MAH BDes CET CAP 2026, the seat acceptance fee is ₹1,000. Candidates must pay this online after accepting their allotted seat through the candidate login during the prescribed acceptance window. The fee can be paid using debit card, credit card, net banking, or UPI.

Options Available After MAH BDes CET CAP Round 1 Seat Allotment

Once the seat allotment is declared, candidates must choose one of the following decisions based on their allocation preference:

  • Auto-Freeze: If a candidate is allotted their First Preference (Preference No. 1), the seat will be automatically frozen. Such candidates must pay the seat acceptance fee online and report to the institute within the deadline. They will not be eligible to participate in subsequent CAP rounds.

  • Self-Freeze: If a candidate is allotted a seat other than Preference No. 1 and is satisfied with the seat, they can manually select the Freeze option, accept the seat, pay the seat acceptance fee online, and report to the college.

  • Not Freeze / Betterment: If a candidate is allotted a seat other than Preference No. 1 but wishes to try for a higher preference in CAP Round 2, they must choose the Not Freeze (Betterment) option, pay the seat acceptance fee online to claim the current seat, and wait for CAP Round 2.

Note: Candidates who do not complete the seat acceptance step within the given deadline will forfeit their claim on the allotted seat and will be considered ineligible for auto-retention in subsequent rounds.
