MAH BBA CAP 2026 Provisional Merit List Out on 29th July: Check Full Schedule

The State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra, has released the complete MAH BBA CAP 2026 counselling schedule for admissions to BBA, BMS, BBM, and BCA programmes. The registration and online document verification phase for the MAH BBA CAP 2026 concluded on July 26 and July 27, respectively. Going forward, the provisional merit list will be published on July 29, the grievance window will remain open from July 30 to August 1 (5 PM), and the final merit list will be released on August 3, following which CAP Round 1 option form filling will begin on August 4. The admission process will be conducted through four rounds of seat allotment across participating institutes in Maharashtra.

What Happens After the Final Merit List?

Once the State CET Cell publishes the final merit list on August 3, candidates will proceed through the formal allotment steps:

  1. View the CAP Round 1 Seat Matrix:The State CET Cell will publish the category-wise seat matrix for participating institutes on August 4.

  2. Filling Preference Options: Lock preferred courses and institutes in order of priority via the official login portal between August 5 and August 7.

  3. Checking Allotment Status: View seat allocation results on August 9.

  4. Freeze / Float Decision:

    • Freeze: Accept the allotted seat if satisfied and pay the seat acceptance fee.

    • Not Freeze/ Float (Betterment): Accept the seat conditionally while opting for a better preference in subsequent CAP rounds.

  5. Physical Reporting: Report to the assigned college within the scheduled deadline to verify physical documents and pay tuition fees.

How to Check the MAH BBA CAP 2026 Merit List

  1. Visit the official MAH BBA CAP 2026 admission portal at https://bba2026.mahacet.org.in or access it through the State CET Cell’s CAP portal at https://cetcell.mahacet.org/cap-_2026-27/.
  2. Open the BBA/BMS/BBM/MBA (Integrated) admission portal.
  3. Click on the Provisional Merit List or Final Merit List link, as applicable.
  4. Download the merit list PDF released by the State CET Cell.
  5. Search the PDF using your Application ID, Candidate Name, or Merit Rank to locate your details.
  6. Verify your merit rank and candidature details, then save a copy of the merit list PDF for use during the CAP counselling process.

Documents Required for MAH BBA CAP Admission

Candidates reporting to institutes for final verification and admission must carry original copies alongside self-attested sets of the following documents:

  • Entrance Scorecard: MAH BBA CET 2026 Rank Card / CUET UG 2026 Scorecard (for All India candidates).

  • Academic Certificates: Class 10 (SSC) Marksheet/Passing Certificate and Class 12 (HSC) Marksheet/Diploma Certificate.

  • Identification Proof: Aadhaar Card, Passport, or Voter ID.

  • Domicile & Category Documents (if applicable):

    • Domicile Certificate / Birth Certificate indicating Maharashtra state status.

    • Caste Certificate, Caste Validity Certificate, and Non-Creamy Layer Certificate (NCL).

    • Economically Weaker Section (EWS) Certificate.

  • Administrative Certificates: College Leaving Certificate (TC), Migration Certificate, and passport-size photographs.
