RVUNL Recruitment 2026 Applications Begin for 2,005 Posts from August 5: Key Dates, Posts & More

The Rajasthan Rajya Vidyut Utpadan Nigam Limited (RVUNL), acting on behalf of five state power companies in Rajasthan—RVUN, RVPN, JVVN, AVVN, and JdVVN—has officially initiated the online application process for its Common Recruitment Exercise 2026. This recruitment drive aims to fill a total of 2,005 vacancies across engineering, financial, and administrative cadres, including Junior Engineer-I, Junior Accountant, and Junior Assistant/Commercial Assistant-II.

Interested and eligible candidates can submit their applications online through the official state energy portal from August 5, 2026 onwards. The last date to apply for the same is August 25, 2026 at energy.rajasthan.gov.in. Applicants must also pay a registration fee of Rs. 500 (reserved categories) to Rs. 1,000 (unreserved categories).

RVUNL Recruitment 2026 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must meet the following post-wise educational qualifications and age limits as calculated on January 1, 2027:

Educational Qualification

• Junior Engineer-I (Electrical / Mechanical / Civil): A full-time 4-year B.E. / B.Tech / AMIE degree or equivalent engineering degree in the relevant discipline (Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil) from a recognized university.

• Junior Accountant: Graduation in Commerce (B.Com) / BBA / M.Com / MBA (Finance) / CA / ICWA Intermediate, along with a recognized computer qualification certificate (e.g., RSCIT, O Level, CCC).

• Junior Assistant / Commercial Assistant-II: Senior Secondary (10+2 pass) from a recognized board along with a recognized computer qualification/certificate.

Age Limit & Relaxation

• Junior Engineer-I: 21 to 43 years.

• Junior Accountant & Junior Assistant: 18 to 43 years.

• Age relaxations apply for SC/ST/OBC/MBC/EWS and female candidates per Rajasthan Government rules.

Application Fee

• General / Unreserved / Out-of-State Candidates: ₹1,000

• SC / ST / BC / MBC / EWS / PwBD / Saharia Candidates (Rajasthan Domicile): ₹500

Eligible candidates can complete the application process online by following these steps:

1. Visit the Official Website: Go to the official Rajasthan Energy portal (energy.rajasthan.gov.in) or any of the participating Nigam portals (RVUN, RVPN, JVVN, AVVN, JdVVN).

2. New User Registration: Click on the recruitment link for Advt. No. RVUN/Rectt.-2026-27 and register using a valid mobile number and email ID.

3. Fill Out the Application Form: Log in with your registration credentials and accurately enter personal, educational, and communication details.

4. Upload Required Documents: Upload scanned copies of your passport-size photograph, signature, educational certificates, and category documents per prescribed format.

5. Pay Application Fee: Remit the application fee online using Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking, or UPI.

6. Submit & Print: Review all entered details carefully before final submission, submit the form, and print a copy of the application and fee receipt for future reference.

RVUNL Recruitment 2026 Selection Process

The recruitment process consists of three distinct stages designed to evaluate candidates’ technical proficiency, administrative competence, and eligibility:

1. Computer-Based Written Test (CBT): An online objective examination evaluating candidate subject knowledge (Engineering/Accounting/General Aptitude depending on the post) alongside reasoning, general knowledge, and language skills.

2. Skill / Typing Test (For Specific Posts): Candidates applying for Junior Assistant / Commercial Assistant-II who clear the written exam must undergo a Hindi and English computer typing speed test.

3. Document Verification & Medical Examination: Candidates qualifying in the merit list based on CBT (and Typing Test where applicable) will be called for physical document verification followed by a standard medical fitness examination prior to final appointment.
