JEECUP Pharmacy: Fill choices by Sep 27, 2026 for Round 1 counselling

The Joint Entrance Examination Council, Uttar Pradesh (JEECUP) has announced the complete counselling schedule for Group-E (Pharmacy) admissions for the 2026-27 academic session. The process, which supports admissions to Diploma in Pharmacy (D. Pharma) programs in Uttar Pradesh, is set to commence on September 25, 2026, and will conclude on October 30, 2026.

The counselling will be conducted online through the official website jeecup.admissions.nic.in, with designated district help centres available for document verification. The schedule includes three consecutive rounds for UP state-qualified candidates, followed by two special rounds (4 and 5) for all non-admitted candidates, including those from other states who appeared in UPJEE (Polytechnic) 2026.

Main Counselling Rounds (1-3) Schedule

The initial phase of counselling, comprising Rounds 1 to 3, is specifically for UP state-qualified candidates. Round 1 online choice filling will be available from September 25, 2026, to September 27, 2026. The first seat allotment list is scheduled for release on September 28, 2026. Candidates who are allotted seats in Round 1 must complete their online freeze/float option selection and pay the required fees between September 29, 2026, and October 1, 2026, by 5:00 PM. Document verification for freeze candidates in Round 1 will also occur during this period, concluding by 6:00 PM on October 1, 2026.

Round 2 choice filling will open on October 3, 2026, and close on October 4, 2026, with the seat allotment list released on October 5, 2026. Similar to Round 1, freeze/float selection, fee payment, and document verification for Round 2 will take place from October 6, 2026, to October 8, 2026. Round 3 choice filling is scheduled from October 9, 2026, to October 11, 2026, with results on October 12, 2026. Notably, in Round 3, all allotted seats will be auto-freeze, and no float option will be available. The security and counselling fee deposit for Round 3, along with document verification, is set from October 13, 2026, to October 15, 2026. Admitted seat withdrawal for Rounds 1 to 3 is scheduled for October 14-15, 2026, and classes for the 2026-27 academic session are slated to begin on October 15, 2026.

Special Counselling Rounds (4 and 5)

Following the main rounds, two special counselling rounds (4 and 5) have been scheduled for all non-admitted candidates who appeared in UPJEE (Polytechnic) 2026. This includes both UP and other state qualified candidates. Round 4 choice filling will occur from October 17, 2026, to October 20, 2026, with the seat allotment result published on October 21, 2026. Online freeze/float selection, security fee deposit, and document verification for Round 4 freeze candidates are scheduled from October 22, 2026, to October 24, 2026.

Round 5 choice filling is set for October 25, 2026, to October 26, 2026, and the seat allotment result will be released on October 27, 2026. Similar to Round 3, all allotted seats in Round 5 will be auto-freeze, with no float option available. The security fee deposit and document verification for Round 5 will take place from October 28, 2026, to October 30, 2026. Admitted seat withdrawal for Rounds 4 and 5 is scheduled for October 30, 2026, which also marks the final date for Participating Institute (PI) reporting for these rounds.

Counselling Fees and Important Instructions

Candidates participating in the JEECUP Pharmacy counselling must pay a total of ₹3,250. This amount comprises a seat acceptance fee of ₹3,000 and a counselling fee of ₹250. You can’t ignore for candidates to complete both the fee payment and document verification within the specified timelines for each round. Failure to do so will result in the automatic cancellation of the allotted seat, and no refund of fees will be provided.

The counselling process specifically pertains to admissions to Diploma in Pharmacy (D. Pharma) programs. Admissions to B.Pharmacy and Pharm D courses under UPTAC 2026 are governed by CUET UG 2026 scores and follow a separate tentative schedule, as managed by Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU).
