Teacher Recruitment Cut-Offs and Evaluation Criteria
The OAVS Cut Off Marks for 2026 teacher recruitment will be released by the Odisha Adarsha Vidyalaya Sangathan on its official website. Candidates will be able to check these marks online in PDF format by navigating to the Recruitment Section and entering their User ID and Password. The cut-off marks are influenced by factors such as the number of available seats, the difficulty level of the examination, the total number of applicants, and the overall performance of candidates.
For the Post of Principal in previous years, cut-off marks were calculated out of a total of 140 marks, encompassing Parts-II, III, and IV of the examination. For all other teaching posts, previous year cut-off marks were calculated out of a total of 160 marks, based on Parts-II and III. The OAVS Exam Marking System awards 1 mark for each correct answer, with a deduction of 0.25 marks for each incorrect answer. Parts II, III, and IV of the OAVS test are evaluated only if a candidate qualifies in Part I by scoring at least 5 marks in both English and Odia, and a minimum of 13 marks in total for Part I.

OAV Entrance Exam Results and Selection Process
The OAV Entrance Exam for 2026, conducted by the Odisha Adarsha Vidyalaya exam conducting Authority, was held on January 9, 2026.
