This session follows the new examination cycle, which commenced in June 2026, with the exam now held three times a year in February, June, and October. CSEET October 2026: Updated Exam Pattern and Syllabus

ICSI has implemented a revised exam pattern for the CSEET October 2026 session, moving from a computer-based test to a center-based offline examination. The exam now comprises four papers, three of which are subjective and one OMR-based. The total marks for the examination remain 400, with each paper carrying 100 marks. The overall exam duration is from 2:30 PM to 5:45 PM, which includes a 15-minute reading time.

The new syllabus, applicable for both the June and October 2026 sessions, covers Business Communication, Fundamentals of Accounting, Economic and Business Environment, and Business Laws and Management. Notably, there is no negative marking in the CSEET examination, providing candidates with an opportunity to attempt all questions without penalty.

CSEET 2026: Fees and Passing Criteria

The registration fee for the CSEET is ₹7,500, and an additional examination fee of ₹1,500 is charged per session. To successfully clear the CSEET, candidates must secure a minimum of 40% marks in each individual paper and an aggregate of 50% across all papers. ICSI has clarified that there is no provision for carrying forward marks from one session to another, meaning candidates must meet the passing criteria in a single attempt.

Once released, candidates will be able to download their E-Admit Cards for the CSEET October 2026 examination from the official ICSI website. This matters a lot for all candidates to download and print their admit cards, as it is a mandatory document for entry into the designated exam centers.

4. Enter your unique CSEET Registration Number and Date of Birth.
