MP AYUSH UG counselling 2026 round 1 seat allotment out: report to colleges by 1 October

The Directorate of AYUSH, Madhya Pradesh, today, September 28, 2026, announced the Round 1 seat allotment results for MP AYUSH UG Counselling 2026. Candidates who participated in the counselling process for admission to BAMS, BHMS, BUMS, and BNYS courses based on NEET-UG 2026 scores can check their results on the official website, ayush.mponline.gov.in.

Following the declaration, candidates who have been allotted a seat in Round 1 are required to complete their physical reporting and provisional admission at their respective colleges. This process is scheduled to take place from September 29, 2026, to October 1, 2026, with a deadline of 6:00 PM on the final day. The counselling process manages admissions for 85% State Quota seats for Madhya Pradesh domicile candidates and 15% All India Quota seats.

Round 1 Schedule and Next Steps

The Round 1 counselling activities commenced with online registration for NEET UG 2026 qualified candidates from September 17, 2026, to September 21, 2026. A facility for editing registration forms was available until September 22, 2026. In-person physical document verification was conducted at 9 Government Autonomous AYUSH Verification Centers from September 18, 2026, to September 22, 2026.

The vacant seat matrix and state merit list for Round 1 were published on September 23, 2026. Online choice filling and locking of preferred colleges, along with a choice editing and final re-locking window, were open from September 24, 2026, to September 26, 2026. Candidates who wish to cancel their admission or resign their allotted seat in Round 1 can do so from September 29, 2026, to October 1, 2026, until 7:00 PM.

Round 2 Registration and Upcoming Dates

Concurrently with the Round 1 admission process, online registration for MP AYUSH Counselling 2026 Round 2 commenced on September 27, 2026. Interested candidates have until September 30, 2026, at 11:59 PM to complete their registration. New candidates for Round 2 can edit their registration forms from September 27 to October 1, 2026, until 5:00 PM.

Document verification for Round 2 is scheduled from September 28 to October 1, 2026. The vacant seat list for Round 2 will be published on October 5, 2026, followed by the state merit list on October 6, 2026. Choice filling and locking for Round 2 will be available from October 7 to October 9, 2026, with the Round 2 seat allotment result expected on October 12, 2026.

Eligibility Criteria and Fee Structure

To be eligible for MP AYUSH Counselling 2026, candidates must have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English. The minimum marks required are 50% for General category, 45% for Physically Handicapped (PH), and 40% for SC/ST/OBC categories in PCB subjects. Candidates must also have qualified NEET-UG 2026 and be a minimum of 17 years old as of December 31, 2026. An MP domicile is required for state quota seats.

The registration fee for all categories is ₹500. A security deposit is also required: approximately ₹10,000 for General/OBC candidates, ₹5,000 for SC/ST candidates, and ₹50,000 for those opting for Deemed/Private Colleges. The counselling process is conducted online by the Department of AYUSH, Government of Madhya Pradesh.

Overview of AYUSH Courses and Colleges in Madhya Pradesh

MP AYUSH Counselling 2026 supports admission to approximately 2,600 BAMS seats across 32 colleges, 2,300 BHMS seats in 27 colleges, 250 BUMS seats in 4 colleges, and 180 BNYS seats in 3 colleges. The AYUSH systems, encompassing Ayurveda, Homeopathy, Unani, Yoga, and Naturopathy, were initially established in Madhya Pradesh in 1977–78 under the Department of Public Health and Family Welfare. A separate AYUSH Department was formed on September 9, 2008, to strengthen these healthcare systems and promote traditional Indian medicine.

Madhya Pradesh has a network of both government and private AYUSH colleges. For BAMS courses, there are 7 government colleges, including Government Ayurvedic College, Rewa (established 1973), and Pt. Khushilal Ayurvedic College, Bhopal (established 1995), each with 75 seats and tuition fees around ₹40,000 per year. The state also has 18 private BAMS colleges, such as Shivshaktilal Ayurvedic College, Ratlam (established 2001), with 100 seats and tuition fees around ₹1,91,000 per year, and Mansarovar Ayurvedic Medical College, Bhopal (established 2015), with 100 seats and tuition fees around ₹3,72,000 per year.
