Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences (NTRUHS), Andhra Pradesh, has commenced the online application process for admission to Post Graduate Medical Degree and Diploma courses under the Management Quota for the 2026-27 academic session. This initiative aims to fill seats in Private Non-Minority and Minority Medical Colleges, as well as New Government Medical Colleges across Andhra Pradesh.
A significant change for the current academic year is the introduction of a refundable security deposit of Rs 3,00,000. This measure, as stated by NTRUHS, is intended to prevent seat blocking, a persistent issue where candidates accept allotted seats but fail to join, leaving positions vacant, and to ensure the effective use of seats during Phase-III (Mop-Up) and subsequent Stray rounds of counselling.
Application Process and Deadlines
Candidates who have qualified NEET PG 2026 are eligible to apply. The application window for submissions without a late fee is open from 4:00 PM on October 19 to 10:00 PM on October 23, 2026. For those unable to meet this deadline, applications with a late fee can be submitted from 9:00 AM to 10:00 PM on October 24, 2026. No new applications will be accepted beyond this cut-off date, and candidates cannot apply until the completion of Phase-III (Mop-Up) Counselling.
The online application form is a single form that covers Category – B (S1), Category-C- NRI (S2), and Institutional Quota (S3) seats. Candidates opting for S2 (NRI Quota) and S3 (Institutional Quota) must indicate their preference at the initial stage of submitting the online application. Foreign Medical Graduates must have qualified the FMGE – Screening Test and be registered with MCI and AP State Medical Council.
