Post-Allotment Procedures and Key Changes
Selected candidates will be required to pay the applicable University Fee online when downloading their allotment order. If a candidate’s seat changes through Phase 2 options, they must download a fresh allotment order and report to the newly allotted college. This requires obtaining a Custodian Certificate from the previously allotted college.
A significant change for the 2026-27 counselling cycle is the withdrawal of the penalty for candidates who were allotted a seat in Phase 1 but did not report; they are no longer permanently excluded from further rounds. Also, unlike previous cycles that imposed a limit on college choices, candidates this year face no upper limit on the number of college preferences they can submit during the web option entry.
