The Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences (NTRUHS), Vijayawada, commenced the Phase 1 option entry window for Andhra Pradesh AYUSH Undergraduate (AP AYUSH UG) Counselling 2026 today, October 3, 2026. Eligible candidates can exercise their web options for admission to BHMS, BAMS, and BUMS courses for the academic year 2026-27 under the Competent Authority Quota (CQ).

The web options facility is available on the NTRUHS AYUSH admission portal from October 2, 2026, at 10:00 AM, and will close on October 4, 2026, at 6:00 PM. This phase of counselling follows the notification for exercising web options issued on October 1, 2026, and is open to candidates who were included in the merit list published on September 26, 2026.

Phase 1 Option Entry and Allotment Process

Candidates eligible for Phase 1 counselling can exercise any number of options for their preferred courses and colleges. A One Time Password (OTP) will be sent to the registered mobile number during registration and when exercising web options to ensure secure access. The seat allotment process will adhere to the procedures outlined in relevant Andhra Pradesh Government Orders and regulations.

Upon seat allotment, candidates will be informed via their registered mobile number. They are required to download the allotment order from the NTRUHS AYUSH admission portal and pay a non-refundable University fee of ₹8,600 through the payment gateway. Following this, candidates must report to their allotted college within the specified reporting schedule for original certificate verification and admission. Candidates not allotted a seat in Phase 1 will be considered for available vacancies in Phase 2 counselling, provided they exercise fresh options.

Eligibility and Fee Structure

For admission to BUMS courses, candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology or Biotechnology, and secured the minimum qualifying percentile in NEET-UG 2025. Also, BUMS candidates are required to have studied Urdu, Arabic, or Persian as a subject at the 10th or 12th standard. The NEET UG 2026 results were declared on July 16, 2026.

The online registration for Competent Authority Quota (CQ) seats for Andhra Pradesh AYUSH Counselling 2026 concluded on September 16, 2026. Separate registration windows were open for 15% All India Quota (AIQ) and Management Quota (MQ) seats in Private Un-aided BHMS Colleges from September 17, 2026, to September 23, 2026. The application fee for 15% Private AIQ was ₹2,500, while for Management Quota seats, it was ₹3,600. The University Fee for Management Quota at allotment is ₹20,100, and the tuition fee for private un-aided homoeopathy colleges is fixed at ₹24,500 per annum.

Context of AYUSH Admissions

Andhra Pradesh UG AYUSH admissions for the academic year 2026-27 are conducted entirely through online counselling by Dr. NTRUHS. This counselling process covers approximately 85% of seats under the state quota (Competent Authority Quota) in various government, private unaided non-minority, and aided BHMS/BAMS/BUMS colleges across Andhra Pradesh. The remaining 15% All India Quota seats are filled through central counselling conducted by the AYUSH Admissions Central Counselling Committee (AACCC).

The AACCC UG Counselling 2026 Round 2 choice filling period is currently ongoing from September 27, 2026, to October 5, 2026, with results published on October 2, 2026. Round 1 registration and payment for AACCC UG Counselling took place from August 31 to September 13, 2026, with results published on September 16, 2026. Round 2 registration and payment for AACCC UG Counselling was from September 26 to September 30, 2026.
