Puducherry NEET UG 2026 Vacancy Details

The revised vacancy list, published by CENTAC Puducherry, includes seats for MBBS, BDS, and BAMS courses. For MBBS, colleges covered are IGMC&RI, PIMS, SMVMC&H, and SVMC&RI. BDS colleges include MGPGIDS, MINDS, and SVDC, while BAMS seats are available at RGAMC. Prior to the publication of the vacancy list, the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) had issued a notice on 3 September 2026, titled ‘Newly Added Seats Round 2 (MBBS, BDS, B.Sc Nursing) – UG Counselling 2026’. This notice announced the addition of 659 seats across 13 institutes in seven states and union territories for NEET UG Round 2.

Of these 659 new seats, 395 were for MBBS, 139 for B.Sc Nursing, and 125 for BDS. Puducherry specifically received 50 new MBBS seats at Aarupadai Veedu Medical College under the Deemed University, Self-Financed Merit Seat quota for Round 2. These newly added seats were integrated into the choice filling window for the respective counselling round.

NEET UG 2026 Round 3 Counselling Schedule

The Round 3 registration for NEET UG 2026 counselling was conducted from 11 September to 15 September 2026, with choice filling and locking taking place from 11 September to 16 September 2026. The seat allotment results for Round 3 were scheduled for 18 September 2026.

Candidates allotted seats in Round 3 were required to report to their respective colleges between 19 September and 26 September 2026. upgradation is strictly capped at Round 3, meaning candidates allotted a seat in this round cannot resign or exit it.
