• Entrance Examination: Must have qualified JEE (Advanced) 2026. Candidates with only a JEE (Main) rank or a JEE (Advanced) Preparatory Rank are NOT eligible.

• Qualifying Examination (Class 12 / Equivalent):

  • General / EWS / OBC-NCL Candidates: Minimum 60% aggregate marks in Class 12 (or equivalent).

  • SC / ST / PwD Candidates: Minimum 55% aggregate marks in Class 12 (or equivalent).

  • Compulsory subjects in Class 12 include Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and English.

• Category Rules: Reserved category applicants can choose Unreserved (UR) seats provided they possess both JEE Advanced Common Rank List (CRL) and Category Ranks.

1. New Registration Requirement: Even if a candidate registered for earlier rounds of RGIPT 2026 counselling, they must register using a new email address and mobile number for the Spot Round.

2. Seat Selection & Hold: Once logged in, candidates select an active vacant seat under their eligible branch and category. The portal locks the seat for 15 minutes to enable payment.

3. Full Fee Payment: Candidates must pay the prescribed 1st Semester fee (+ Mess Advance) immediately.
