The Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Petroleum Technology (RGIPT), Jais, Amethi has officially initiated the B.Tech Spot Round Admission process for the academic session 2026–27. The spot round admission is opened on August 3rd, 2026. Candidates who qualified for JEE (Advanced) 2026 can register online and secure remaining seats across 11 four-year undergraduate engineering programmes.
The Spot Round is conducted directly through the official admissions portal at rgipt.ac.in and rgipterp.com. Seat allocation during this round is offered on a first-come, first-served basis, subject to eligibility verification and immediate payment of the first-semester admission fee.

RGIPT B.Tech Spot Round Admission 2026-27 Begins
The spot admission round offers a final opportunity for JEE Advanced-qualified aspirants seeking entry into specialized and core engineering branches at RGIPT. With regular admission rounds (Rounds 1 and 2) concluded, vacant seats across major streams—including Petroleum Engineering, Computer Science, Electronics, Electrical, AI-Enabled Energy Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering—are up for grabs.
Unlike standard seat allocation rounds, the RGIPT B.Tech Spot Round requires candidates to select an available branch/category seat online, complete instant fee payment within a 15-minute seat hold window, and submit mandatory documents for rapid verification.
