AYUSH Seat Distribution in West Bengal
Based on 2025 figures, West Bengal had 6 government AYUSH colleges offering approximately 338 undergraduate seats and 10 private AYUSH colleges with around 517 undergraduate seats, bringing the total to approximately 855 seats across 16 institutions. The WBMCC handles the counselling for the 85% state quota seats in these colleges.

Comparison with West Bengal NEET UG Counselling 2026
The AYUSH counselling process follows the earlier West Bengal NEET UG 2026 counselling for MBBS and BDS courses. The Round 1 seat matrix for West Bengal UG Medical and Dental Counselling 2026 was released on August 19, 2026, showing a total of 6,579 MBBS seats.
