Step-by-Step: How to Check Your Allotment

Students can access their results online by following these simple steps:

  1. Visit the official website: comedk.org.

  2. Click on the “Applicant Login” link.

  3. Enter your Application Sequence Number (User ID) and Password.

  4. Navigate to the “Decision Making” tab on your user dashboard.

  5. Your allotted college name, course, preference number, and total fee will be displayed on the screen.

Understanding Your Options: What to Do Next?

Once you receive a seat, you must choose one of the following actions before July 21 (4:00 PM). If you do not choose an option, you will lose the seat and will be disqualified from the remaining counselling rounds.

  • Accept and Freeze: Choose this if you are fully satisfied with the college and branch. You will pay the seat acceptance fee online and physically report to the college to secure your admission.

  • Accept and Upgrade: Choose this if you want to hold onto this seat but want to see if you can get a higher-preferred college in Round 2. You still have to pay the fee online to hold the seat.

  • Reject and Upgrade: Choose this if you do not want the current allotted seat but still want to participate in Round 2 for your higher preferences.

  • Reject and Withdraw: Choose this if you are completely unhappy with the allotment and want to exit the COMEDK counselling process entirely.

Documents Needed for College Reporting

If you choose Accept and Freeze, you must travel to your allotted college to complete the admission process. Make sure to carry the original copies and multiple photocopies of the following documents:

  • COMEDK Round 1 Seat Allotment Letter (printed from the portal)

  • COMEDK Fee Receipt (printed after online payment)

  • COMEDK UGET 2026 Rank Card & Admit Card

  • Class 10/SSLC Marks Card (as proof of date of birth)

  • Class 12/2nd PUC Marks Card

  • A valid government-issued photo ID (Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, Passport, etc.)

  • Category or Regional reservation certificates (if applicable)

Pro Tip for Students: Do not wait until the last day to make your payment. High website traffic near the deadline can sometimes cause online banking delays. Candidates are also advised to check the official working hours of their allotted college before making travel arrangements.
