Puducherry’s Centralised Admission Committee (CENTAC) announced on October 10, 2026, the removal of 35 candidates from its Round 3 eligible list for undergraduate NEET-based courses for the 2026-2027 academic year. This administrative action was taken to prevent double admissions, as these candidates had already secured seats in the national-level Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) Round 3 counselling.

The removal ensures that candidates do not hold two MBBS or BDS seats simultaneously, thereby making these seats available to other eligible candidates in the state-level counselling process. The list of removed candidates was also noted on the official CENTAC website, centacpuducherry.in, on October 11, 2026.

Details of Removed Candidates and Ineligibility

The 35 candidates removed from the CENTAC Round 3 eligible list were identified by their application number, name, NEET roll number, NEET score, and NEET All India Rank. This action is a standard administrative procedure implemented to ensure fairness and efficient allocation of medical and dental seats.

Candidates who have been admitted through MCC Round 3 are automatically deemed ineligible for CENTAC Round 3 counselling. The application numbers on the list ranged from APP NO 62600503 to APP NO 62603339. The NEET scores of these removed candidates varied from 415 (Jana K) to 177 (Anjanesh M), with their All India Ranks spanning from 236,833 to 1,191,443.
