UCEED 2027 registration to open October 1: documents required for application

Candidates intending to apply for the UCEED Entrance Exam 2027 are advised to prepare all necessary documentation as online registration is set to begin on October 1, 2026, at 1:00 pm. The application process will be conducted exclusively online through the official portal, uceedapp.iitb.ac.in/UCEED/home.jsp.

The registration window for UCEED 2027 will remain open until October 31, 2026, for those paying the regular fee. A late fee option extends the deadline to November 6, 2026, at 5:00 pm. Applicants must ensure all details are accurate and documents are uploaded correctly, as there will be no provision for editing the application form after submission.

Key Documents Required for UCEED 2027 Registration

A thorough set of documents is required for the UCEED 2027 application process. These include a recent colour photograph, taken within the last six months, and a straightforward image of the candidate’s signature. Both must be in JPEG format (.jpg file extension). Age proof, such as an SSC certificate, Passport, or Birth certificate, must be submitted in PDF format (.pdf file).

For candidates who appeared in the qualifying examination in 2026, a qualifying examination certificate in PDF format is mandatory. Those appearing for the Class XII exam in 2027 must upload a certificate from their school/college Principal or an Authorized official from the Board (Appendix 1) in PDF format. If a candidate’s name differs from their Class XII certificate, a gazette notification showing the name change is also required.

Category-Specific Documentation and Validity

Candidates applying under specific categories must provide valid certificates issued by appropriate authorities. EWS/SC/ST/OBC-NCL category certificates must be in .pdf file format. For EWS and OBC-NCL categories, certificates issued on or after April 1, 2025, are accepted for the examination. However, if selected for admission, candidates must produce a category certificate valid during the following year, issued on or after April 1, 2026.

Applicants under the physical disability (PwD) category are required to submit a valid UDID (Unique Disability ID) card/certificate or a valid medical certificate in .pdf file format. This medical certificate must explicitly state that the disability is at least 40% to qualify for reservation. Dyslexic candidates need an additional certificate from the Principal/Head of their College/Institution, as per Appendix, clearly stating the nature of disability as SEVERE and PERMANENT. PwD candidates who require a scribe during the exam must also upload a relevant certificate, if applicable.

The registration process for UCEED 2027 follows a specific timeline, with different deadlines for regular and late fee submissions.
